With a big 5.5-inch QHD display, a massive battery and all the same great features as the Samsung Galaxy S7, including a slim waterproof design, a microSD card slot and a tasty camera, The phone has 32/64GB ROM variants, 12MP/5MP camera duo and 3,000 mAH battery. Samsung Galaxy S7 also supports Dual SIM, MicroSD card of up to 200GB, as well as water and dust resistant. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge specs are almost similar to its sibling, except for a 5.5 inch screen, signature curved display and a bigger battery of 3,600 mAH capacity. This could be Samsung’s real flagship.

The official Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge price starting March 11 are $699 and $799 respectively, is around NGN140,000 and NGN159,000 respectively . This is obviously not a small amount of money and doesn’t fit in the budget category of smartphone. However, with all the specs these beasts have to offer, such price is worth giving a try, if you are looking to buy a premium smartphones that really stands out from the rest.

So what do we reckon? Well obviously we’ll reserve final judgement until our full review, but that said there are plenty of positives here. The main takeaway for us is that Samsung has listened to gripes about the loss of microSD and waterproofing from older models and has therefore brought both features back, which is bound to bring smiles to more than a few faces. However, another old Samsung feature sorely missed has not made a return – the removable battery pack.
